Partners Organize National HIV/AIDS Best Practices Conference

Under the leadership of Save the Children, host agency for the Hope for African Children Initiative in Malawi, partner organizations are organizing from April 24-26 a national conference on AIDS entitled Taking Best Practices in HIV/AIDS Programming to Scale. This three-day conference--presided by local organizations, government representatives and UN agencies--aims to highlight strategies to address orphan and vulnerable children issues; provide care and address nutritional needs; mobilize the community; promote behavior change; better coordination among different service delivery organizations; and define policy goals. What follows is a tentative program and list of likely speakers.
