St. Rita Nanga Women's GroupSt. Rita Nanga Women's Group is a community-based organization established in 1998 with the intent of integrating Home Based Care and support for children orphaned by AIDS. The organization aims to build a network of community caregivers who are motivated enough to contribute towards support and care for orphans through a participatory mechanism. The group seeks to meet the needs of orphans and other vulnerable children through health care, nutrition and food security and education. The organization is managed by a six-member management committee, which also constitutes the Board. A project coordinator manages the daily operations of the group. All members serve the group voluntarily. Mission: The organization's mission is to offer sustainable Home-Based Orphan support. Three main objectives:
